Course overview

This three year bachelors degree programme, provides students with a combination of tourism and hospitality management skills underpinned with the business knowledge that is now so important for running modern hotels and tourist resorts. Many of the business units on this degree are taken from the University's renowned Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and the programme is taught jointly by the business and tourism & hospitality departments.What it produces is well rounded business graduates that have the specialist skills to manage international hotels, tour operations and tourist resorts.

Entry Requirements
A-Levels (minimum grades CCD) or other comparable qualifications, plus GCSE English Language (or O-level, or IELTS 6 with a score of 6 for Writing or equivalent)
Year 2 entry: SQA Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism Management (see page opposite) or other comparable relevant diploma or A-Levels (minimum grades ABB)
Year 3 entry: HND, ABE Advanced Diploma or equivalent
